I know why I don't like custom work. I still don't think I am very good at it. I just can't get the hang of making feathers. I think when I echo them, they look better. Finally got it quilted after working since about 9:30.

I struggle with custom quilting too but you did a really nice job. I'm going to post a photo of your quilt on my website if that's ok, I'll link back to your blog but I like for people to see different color options and I love your choices.
I think you did a lovely job quilting this carpenter's star, Rachel! Don't be so hard on yourself! (she says as she sits here second guessing the work she has on the machine right now. :-/)
