I am really facinated by these string quits. Here is another pic after I sewed them together. Really not much difference, and I'll probably post another once I get it quilted. Blogger readers, please have patience with my excitement over learning something new!!

I am using a red thread for the quilt I just finished and yes, the center strings were red but USUALLY, I use a neutral color beige thread. It doesn't seem to stand out too much in the red and isn't too dark in the other strings either.
