Once I told my husband that my next quilt, made from the civil war scraps, was going to be for him, he insisted on flannel for the backing. We found a cute quilt shop in Jackson Hole, that had lots of woodsy, earthy flannels. I think the one I picked will go good with the civil war fabrics. I would love to finish this before he gets home from his next business trip on the 28th.
I've made some great progress. Got all the paper pieced blocks done and the others cut. Even got four rows sewed together. Any ideas how to quilt it?
