Paper piecing progress

After our little visit to the ER, I went back to work on my two projects. I usually just do one project at a time, but I rather enjoy working a little on one, then doing a couple of paper pieced blocks. I ended up with twelve sets of the three flying geese. All from scraps. Love it.

I think I'll do seven sets per row and hopefully use more scraps for the strips in between. I figure I'll need about six or seven rows. For this process to go so slow, I am making good progress. I think this will look good as a lap quilt to put across the foot of our bed. Especially when I have the civil war quilt on the bed.
