More Yellowstone and Grand Teton Pictures

We are not sure what this little scraggly bird is....a quail?

Red-tailed hawk.

This is one I might have to print and frame.

    Can't express how much I am enjoying the pictures from your trip. I don't know that much about birds, but I think a quail is a fat, round little bird. This one looks to me like a grouse.

    Thanks Susan, I looked it up and you were right. It was a ruffed grouse.
