Finished
Received the backing and decided to do a feathery pantograph called Plummage by Willow Leaf Studio for the quilting. So happy with how it turned out, I decided to hang it in my sewing room for a while before I put it on a bed.
It's stunning! I love all the colors! It certainly looks like a lot of cutting and stitching. How do you like paper piecing? Do you think you'll tackle another one soon?
Thanks Jan! I really enjoyed the paper piecing. My normal piecing is never that exact. It does have a lot of waste but I used all little scrap pieces, fabric leftovers, and even some of a layer cake I wasn't too fond of. I typically don't buy fabric unless I have a project in mind, so that is all that is in my stash. I do think I'd like to do another paper pieced quilt. It is nice to be able to make something so complex.
