I have been very busy since I left the blogspot blog. Had the above quilt called Sun Kissed Shadows and another one, Checkered Past, published in the July/August issue of Fons and Porter's Easy Quilts.
My quilt even made the cover!
I did my first wood working project, a king sized bed.
This project was incredibly fun and rewarding.
I traveled to Scotland for a Highland vacation with my son and his family.
Saw some beautiful castles and so enjoyed my time with this little beauty.
I must have made so many pictures of my little granddaughter, she got tired of it....."NO PICTA!"
The best of times.....
I've been working more this summer in preparation for going back to Scotland when my little grandson is born. Of course, I had to make him a quilt to welcome him to the world.
I have managed to get in a few trips to the lake for a little stress relief on the paddle board.
And tried to keep up my running, although sometimes it has been in the house due to the heat.
So, in a nutshell, that is what I've been up to since I vacated the blog back in May. I have some more quilting news coming out soon, so stop by here or the website in a week or so.
Thanks for visiting and leave me a message. I love hearing from you.
Your wood working project is fabulous! Now you can make big quilts for the big bed! Whohoo!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy! It was really fun too! I am ready for my next big quilt. Just need to find the right pattern.
