How to hang a small quilt

I wanted to post this picture....

I found this method on the Internet. You cut squares (mine were 6"), fold them in half diagonally, sew along the edges leaving a small opening to turn them right side out, turn them out, press them, and then hand sew them into the corners of your quilt. A wooden dwell can be placed in each corner to hold the quilt. I put three on my little confetti quilt so I could hang it vertically or horizontally.

My problem seems to be that they don't hang perfectly straight. I guess that means my quilt is not perfectly square. Or it could be because I am having to hang it a few inches away from the wall.
