Rag Rug Progress

I made a lot of progress on my rag rug today.  However, I wonder if my needles are too big for my "thread".  Whatever, I am continuing on.

It is fun and relaxing.  I am excited about my first knitting project.  Although I still have to learn how to do the finish stitches once I have it big enough.
